A message to Our Villagers from Dr. Hassel McNeil

More than 6 years ago as I envisioned my goals for this Solo practice, a guiding principle and priority was partnering with families who value personalized and attentive care.

One of the unique and precious aspects of our “small, but mighty” OVP team is our ability to develop special relationships and connections with our families. On most days, we are successful in meeting that standard for Our Village.

Unfortunately, on rare occasions, our “MIGHTY” hearts and intentions are limited by the “small” part of the equation.

In recent weeks, a series of unavoidable and unexpected family and medical urgencies have significantly impacted our best efforts to honor our relationships and obligations.

I am acutely aware of the inconvenience this has caused. With the support of my staff and  “all hands on deck”, I am committed to working through and responding to your requests and communications. 

If there is a “time critical” issue or matter, please call the office and leave a message with my staff. Matters that require my direct action are managed between patients and often “after hours”. My staff will update you accordingly.

We very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we recover and reset.

Dr. Hassel McNeil is the best doctor we’ve ever had! She makes all 3 of my kids so comfortable and she REALLY CARES about them. She answers any and all questions and concerns and is so engaged with each child & encourages siblings to make the check up visits fun and as comfortable as possible ❤️ Her staff is polite and helpful and super fast at response times, we also love Hannah!! I was nervous switching to a new Dr when my youngest was born but she has been absolutely incredible the last 3 years we’ve been with her and will NOT go anywhere else. I also love the fact she is out here bossing it at her very own practice and we don’t have to deal with a bunch of random doctors !! Dr. Hassel McNeil has been my kids’ pediatrician since my youngest was born. She is phenomenal. Truly. When she opened Our Village Pediatrics, I did not hesitate to follow her there. She is worth the drive to Canton, her former practice was literally walking distance from our house. Dr. H really, really listens to my kids and really, truly cares about them. She remembers their interests and is genuinely invested in their welfare. Her guidance throughout their lives has been priceless. She takes the time to be sure all issues have been addressed and has always been accessible to us when we needed her. I recommend her without any reservations-she is the doctor you want your kids to grow up with!

Dr. Hassel is the best in Canton. I haven’t met another pediatrician like her. She takes her time with her patients and gets to know her patients and their families as well. I came to her when our previous pediatrician clinic was closed down due to renovations but I do not regret my choice when I switched over to her practice. My kids get better care & treatment here & as a parent I enjoy that and makes me feel secure. She is lovely and sweet along with her staff. I would recommend anyone to her for sure!
